>> General
The hydrostatic drive s a closed kinetic system containing the centrifuge
bowl and its scroll. It is totally independent of the bowl drive,
unlike all other existing scroll drive systems (so called back drives)
which close their cinematic chain outside of the rotating assembly.
These back drives depend on the bowl drive to generate a differential
speed between the bowl and the scroll. The hydrostatic drive unit,
Rotodiff mounted directly on the rotating assembly, and powered
from a separate power pack, or pump unit, has no influence on the
bowl drive system.
